Proud to be Adarshian

Proud to be Adarshian
Children are the pot-pourri of potential with their inquisitive minds, enthusiasm and unlimited energy. They can make a difference to the world. APS works to pour universal values into the curriculum which makes our students adaptable, complete, efficient, resourceful, spiritual and virtuous. Values of integrity courage and righteousness do not come automatically but are nurtured by giving a congenial environment, opportunity and support. It becomes our ultimate goal to preen the wings of these little birdies and provide them a wide horizon to fly and to prove that ‘Sky is not the limit’.

Poetic Thoughts by a lovely Students

     To be an Adarshian,
Is to an Inspiration,
For we inspire others,
Never to stop and move further.
To walk ahead,
And never to turn our head,
Back to what is left behind.
And look for something;
Worth enough to find,
And then achieve it.
Being an Adarshian.
Is to become a creation,
Which is incomparable,
And no less incredible.
So we are proud of conclude that there is,
Nothing more applaudable,
                                                             Than being an Adarshian

GLIDING TO GLORY – KITE MAKING-- CLASS I & II

Come 15th August, and we all get busy with the euphoria of flying kites. We all get enchanted by seeing those beautiful paper creations kissing the clear blue skies. Recently we did an activity of helping children to make kites. The happiness is beyond comprehension of making a kite and then seeing it flying in vast skies. One of our enthusiastic teacher shares her exeperience of being a part of one such activity.

It rightly said Freedom has its life in the hearts, the actions and the spirit of countrymen. The anxiety, enthusiasm and the energy associated with the celebration of Independence Day runs over many and evokes immense nostalgia. Adarshians are also gripped in a feeling of anticipation, joy and jubilation of this 65th glorious year of freedom. So our energy bundles made beautiful kites symbolizing freedom. Students of Class I & II used different textures of the paper, sizes, shapes and glorious tricolours to make attractive and eye catching kites. All the students participated enthusiastically and the activity proved to be very interesting and creative.
“My heart leaps by when I behold a rainbow in the sky”
So wrote the poet Wordsworth and something of that feeling come over us as we see those kites which our tiny tots have made with their own hands, with the soaring spirit of patriotic feeling in their hearts.

Trip to Parliament

We always try and encourage our studets to come out with their responses regarding the happenings in the school. This not only helps them in building their confidence, but it also helps them in creating the right expression when needed.

We went to the Parliament House to see its (functioning) Lok Sabha Session. But due to some political reasons the house was adjourned. So we got the chance to see Parliament Museum. There we saw the first Lok Sabha working supported by Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru and his original speech. We also heard the voice of Mahatma Gandhi and saw his ashes.
A short documentary was also shown to us on – ‘How we got the freedom?’
So, overall it was very overwhelming experience.
